Turnage said he grew up an AU fan cuz he liked Cam. This last weekend was his first visit to the Plains. It helps if kids have some sort of affinity but obviously need a bigger connection for it to matter

Matthew Hill's godfather ran cross country for AU. He'd visited AU for every junior camp of his high school career. That's a fan that signed

Coynis Miller & Seth Williams both grew up "Alabama fans" & signed with us. If a player doesn't have some sort of actual family connection or has visited numerous times BEFORE they became a big time recruit then I would take the "fan" tidbit with a grain of salt. A lot of recruits just really liked Cam
