Coach Kul was the one that got the wr Jeff Thomas from ESL back in 2017. Jeff liked him when he coached at Mizzou.

Ron Dugans and Richt sealed the deal on Thomas. CK got them in the door.

I doubt Kul even met Thomas while at Mizzou. Maybe in passing. It wasn't his area or position group
