Been following this kid's slow ascent to some level of notoriety in FBS recruiting. He has offers from Central Michigan and Miami of Ohio.
No offer or major interest from Mizzou leaves me a small bit surprised.. He's undersized at 6-0 and 185, so he is similar to Tyler Gabbert in size. I also don't think he could make it above the back-up qb slot if he did, but who really knows? You guys think Mizzou should pick him up or wash themselves of the Gabbert family tree?
QB Depth Chart
Lock, Drew SR
Wilson, Micah Sophmore
Lowary, Jack Junior
Future: Lindsey Scott Junior (dual threat)

No. Odom can't afford any legacy freeriders.

Don't forget redshirt freshman Taylor Powell who they are high on.

Powell impressed a lot of people running the scout team.

I've heard the Gabbert family is not very happy with Mizzou after Tyler was not handed the reigns. You'll notice Blaine Gabbert does not with the program either.

It all stems from Tyler Gabbert.. He lost out to a better qb (James Franklin), Tyler could have actually seen playing time if he stuck around when Franklin was injured and Berkstresser was in.
I think Corbin Freaking Berkstresser was our starter at one point.
Better than never seeing any playing time at UCF.

Berkstresser didn't lack athleticism...Just sayin.

Berk started a couple of games when Franklin was banged up. Think we beat Arizona St. at home with Berk at QB. After Mauk arrived Berk drifted down the depth chart.

I think we've filled our Gabbert quota, sorry Brett....maybe MoSt can assist

Berkstresser had a very bad case of nerves.

I remember the Arizona State game and the color commentator says, "What's this kid's name (shuffles paper), "Berkstresser", well he's stressing me out the way he plays".

Close but not exactly an accurate assessment. What they didn't believe was that he was given a fair opportunity to compete for the job. One QB playing with #1 WR's OL and RB throwing against #2 defensive players while the other was playing with #2 WR's OL and RB throwing against #1 defensive players. Don't get me wrong, a lot of whining and handled poorly but they never expected the reigns to just be handed over.

Miami of Ohio vs Kentucky on Saturday, Brett Gabbert starting.
Gabbert is having a good run at Miami.

How's Kim Anderson's Mizzou boys gonna be this season?

I feel like he can True-son them to a tournament appearance or two.
