There was a segment on Bo’s show where Frank Ragnow went around to people outside of Baum Stadium and asked questions like “how do you think Dan Enos is doing with the pitchers this year?” And “Ty Storey is doing a great job at first base isn’t he?”
Maybe 15% actually knew better

That is awesome. I think that would be pretty typical of any fanbase though. Most folks don’t follow the programs as closely as the message board crowd.
Not sports related but, on a similar note, I worked at a liquor store in college and we got bored one night and started doing a poll of all our customers. We asked them to answer two questions. They were how many states are there in the US and who won the civil war. The top answers were 52 and “we did.” The sad part about that exercise was that a large portion of our customers were students.
