Bama is losing 6 DBs. We were always going to sign 5-6 this cycle. Bama is taking Eddie regardless of anyone else, they are that high on him. Plus Jobe and possibly Eddie will be safeties for us. We may not get Surtain, but it won’t be for the reason you suggest.

Couldn't the same thing apply to Saban? We're essentially passing on ITS, meaning that Saban is going all-in on the PS2/Campbell duo. That could very easily blow up in our face. Unfortunately, I think it will.
