Here are some 5'10 PG who have shot 40+% 2FG career
SEC in recent years

Ok, give him that extra inch.. but is that the best of the best going back several years? What is the average for 5'10 PGs? I noticed that was for their career. What is Harper's career 2FG%?

But still, you're missing my point. Harper does a lot of things well and to "Harp" on his lack of scoring in the paint, seems a little picky for what he ultimately provides this team.

I think you're just missing Gene's point . He isn't arguing Harper isn't good or anything. However, if we want to compete, he can and needs to be better. This isn't asking him to change his game, all Gene is saying is for him to be smarter when he drives the ball. He doesn't have to always try and draw a foul with a circus shot.

Do you want to reread the whole post? LINK

I said
-Harper is a huge reason we are successful
-Harper is incredible for what we do right now

Somehow you are trying to "harp" on my disagreement that Harper is dominant in all faucets of the game, which I wasn't wrong on unless you suggest 32.9% 2FG dominant

He is listed at 5'10

Why does this matter? You don't get bonus points for being short and clearly 5'10 PGs can shoot 40+% 2FG. In a couple years, we are going to rely on Harper a lot more than we do now and we need him to take that step

Heck, even this year when we are cold shooting we could use Harper to step up. That is unless you trust Bryce Brown driving to the rim right now

39.7% 2FG career, so he both clearly can do better and has taken a big step back this year.

Of those guys, they maybe combine for 1-2 seasons sub 40% 2FG but I don' have it up right now
