Alabama has had one of the most difficult regular season non-conference schedules in the SEC over the last 10 years.

Wrong. You're at best #6... and the fact that South Carolina has played Clemson each of the past 11 years probably means you're #7.... but I didn't calculate their SOS.

Since your argument is that Alabama is afraid to schedule good teams, all that matters in your argument is where teams are ranked going into the game. Here is a summary of the marquee early season match ups for Bama the last 10 years:

2008 - Clemson, #9
2009- Virginia Tech, #7
2010- PSU, #18
2011- PSU, #23
2012- Michigan, #8
2013- Virginia Tech, UR bowl team
2014- WVU, UR bowl team
2015- Wisconsin, #8
2016- USC, #20
2017 - FSU, #3

I'm not expecting anything substantive from you, but you're gonna tell me that's at best #6 in the SEC?
