I have to say. I am super impressed with your team's fans on this board. The melts did not come until today (at lunchtime no less).

I've always thought Georgia fans were pretty damn good but you guys have proven your metal. Good job!

A lot of Georgia fans like myself have been properly conditioned for heart break after enduring the 2012 SECCG and the Falcon's super bowl loss last year. I was really pissed that we lost to Alabama but I pretty much stopped going into full blown depressive melt downs after the 2012 SECCG and the Falcon's super bowl loss further ingrained in me an ability to remain somewhat level headed over a game of football. Don't get me wrong, the loss hurts deep inside, but I have learned to deal with it through past crushing losses by Georgia sports teams.

I just don't understand the concept of "melting" on here. All of my frustrations I typically bottle up and let them fester and send me in a state of mild depression for a while, like a normal person. If I do "let it out", it's to the people I'm around at the game. If I were to type out any "melts", it would be on the GSB with other UGA folks.

I've just never understood coming to thsi board in particular after a loss and typing angrily to a bunch of strangers that DGAS and are only going to give the same tired, rehashed responses of "OOOOOOOHHHHHH MELTTTTT!!!!"

Plus, on a similar note, the RBR site really ruined the whole concept anyway. Years ago when they were kind of under the radar and found some great ones it was awesome, but nowadays the majority of "weekly meltdowns" on there are people intentionally taking the time and effort to craft witty melts jsut to get onto the site. I've honest to gosh seen people say that they are posting to try to make the list. It defeats the whole purpose. It's like "ok, let me think of some fun hyperboles about just how angry I am. Gotta make sure the wording is right, maybe throw in an intentional spelling error, talk about killing myself or others, hmmm this sounds good. Maybe I'll make the site this week!"

It's lame.
