I'm excited!! I grew up watching Patrick (his dad) play at Etowah High and at Auburn. I was sitting in the end zone about 15 rows for Nix to Sanders. It's going to be cool the see Bo play here.

First time watching his highlights. I thought he was more of a Sean White player but I think he is more of a Johnny manziel/Baker mayfield type.
Can’t wait!!

So now we have Bo Jackson's nephew, Patrick Nix's son. Does Cam have any kids? What about Charles Barkley, Frank Thomas, Tim Hudson, they have any little ones Coming up? I saw where Tom Glavine's son committed to our baseball team.

Is it me or does he seem to be lacking in arm strength? I am not seeing a lot of zip in his passes.

Bo Nix Jr season
Edit: Go to his Sophomore season to see his wheels, he had several 50+ yard runs.

What I saw on his highlight reel was a kid that has extremely good footwork, accurate passes, and good wheels. As for the zip, he seems to always put the ball right on the money when the receiver is in tight coverage.
I’d take pinpoint accuracy over a rocket launcher.

I realize the rankings will change but he's a #57 recruit nationally. When was the last time we had a kid like that committed this early?

Think both Joey Gatewood & Calvin Ashley committed earlier. Gatewood was in 2015 while Ashley was at BCW when he was a rising junior

Wasn't Gatewood a #100 level prospect...not #57? I thought about Ashley, but that is like 4 months from now on Bo's clock. Forgot it was before his Junior year.

This is great. Unfortunately, QB recruits are very fickle. We have had several highly rated guys not pan out under Malzahn for a variety of reasons (Kiehl Frazier, Zeke Pike, Woody Barrett, JF3, Clint Moseley, Tyler Queen, Jeremy Johnson, etc.). Here's to hoping that this crop
(Nix, Gatewood, and Willis) give us some stability going forward.
