The "punt block" was a non-play. Regardless of who was moving or offside it was a pre snap flag. The kick would have been done over either way. The play was whistled dead.

This is what I was referring to above. Bama player was not called for movement therefore you cannot assume that the refs were going to call it. The call on the field was UGA was offsides and the replay showed that to be incorrect. So if the Ref does not make the incorrect call you cannot assume that the Ref was going to make the missed call. If you use that assumption then you are confessing that the game tieing TD was a dead ball play too and should not have counted.
