Yeah, y'all were in a no-win situation either way, PR wise...at least y'all got to keep a great DC and prevented him from going to another team in the West...just seemed like a lot of money for LSU, or A&M if he had left, to pay. But I guess we'll probably be seeing more of that now...

Maybe for some of our fans, not for me...I was just answering someone who compared it to Saban...when a coach wins 4 national championships in 7 years, he's gonna get paid...

Wouldn't have mattered to me if Aranda had jumped or not...either way we'd have to face him every year and he's a tough DC...if he had jumped to A&M, I would've still thought that was a lot of money for a coordinator...still y'all got to keep a great one and, if he ends up becoming y'all's head coach down the road, might be money well spent before it's all over...
