how'd y'all do with power out your way? we're usually the first area on JI to lose it, which was around 1040am. got it back by about 4pm. we managed to rough it out how all Gamecocks are raised to do in such circumstances ...



to the power crews out in the craziness yesterday. the one's in our area wouldn't accept an appreciation box of booze we threw together so they could share after it was all over, but those guys deserve a lot of recognition for what they do in the elements they have to to it.

Didnt lose power at all, we still have full coverage on the ground but the roads are now showing at least.

Set a firepit at end of driveway, had a cigar, some TX whiskey, hung out with neighborfolk and let the kids and dogs play in it while they could.

Good times... ready for it to gtf away now.
