Anybody watch ESPN Film Room broadcast today?

Patterson, Babers, and Fedora are doing a great job talking X’s and O’s. Meanwhile the only thing Bert does is holds on to the table like his chair is just about to collapse and occasionally you hear him open a lack of peanut butter crackers. Very little input. It’s almost like he has no clue what they are talking about. Makes me more thankful for Morris.

I didn't watch it but Bert was never touted as being an xs and os genius.
He was touted for his ability to hire assistants and assemble a staff of xs and os geniuses which he did do a fairly good job.

I watched no less than 4 hours. I can attest you're full of shite. Surprisingly, I never saw him take a bite of anything. As in zero food. I also listened to him talk rather intelligently right along side Babers, Holg, Patterson and Fedora. The odd one in the room was Applewhite.
If you're going to make things up, try to disguise it better.

Four straight hours without a dozen doughnuts, a box of chips a hoy, or even a Snickers bar smothered in butter had to have been very traumatic for him. Poor guy.

There was a pizza box but Patterson had that on lock. Babers looked like he had the snacks cracked and crunched quite a bit. But Bert had a bowl of bananas closest to him. Applewhite even joked when he asked of anyone was going to eat that snack bowl saying "Bert they brought the fruit for you".
I never defend the man but dang, OP, none of what you said was close to true.

He did a better job in hiring quality assistants than his predecessors stretching back decades, not that Petrino, Nutt, Ford, Crowe, or Hatfield were much competition in this area.
