I'm still a child. I got a new PS4 controller.

Todd Gurley gave me the best gift ever though, in a fantasy championship

Congrats on the soon-to-be new addition!

I don’t know about you but it came as a surprise to me. I looked around a few Christmas’ ago and noticed that my parents were now the grandparents. It was a sobering reminder of how the journey of life progresses.

Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your child! Enjoy the moments you have with your loved ones, even your in laws.

I had to laugh a little ... because I got a Porter Cable impact wrench from my Son. I was trying to take the wheels off my old 1959 Ford 601 tractor that I am restoring about a month ago and couldn't budge the lugnuts. Used to be able to break them loose with one arm and a lug wrench. That impact wrench was so heavy in the box I had no clue what it was until I opened it.

And I got a fitness tracker watch ... Fitbit Ionic. Wife wants me to get back in the gym I think.

And clothes, Filson oiled hunting jacket and Filson fedora type oiled hat plus two new Gamecock hats. And a $250.00 gift card to Adams University Book Store which I am going to burn tomorrow before we depart for Florida.

And four bottles of Blanton's .... one each from four different friends/business associates plus a lot of other liqour. People always seem to get me liquor.

It was a pretty good Christmas.

I got my Son a Benelli shotgun and my Wife a Tag Heuer watch. All of my Daughters, spread all over the country and none of them came home ... they got money because that's what they wanted, meh. I got pictures of the grandkids in return.

ETA: Oh, and the wife just reminded me I also got a Roku Ultra which is pretty neat. A this set of Bose bluetooth wireless earplugs that hang around my neck which I am going to have to get used to but they sound really good. The Roku has it's own set of earbuds that plugs into the remote so I will not be keeping her up at night while watching my shows in the bed anymore.

Man ... we got this fiber optic Zip Stream 1000x1000 Internet service installed way out here in the country down our dirt road last Thursday. I gotta say, it's incredible. I remember the old 36 baud kbs dial-up days and it's come a lonnnnnng ways since then. We're streaming better 4k HD over the Internet than we were getting from DISH.

You and my father in law would get along great. I got those presents, and my bro in law got some shot gun shell reloaders and other stuff mainly so pops could clear stuff out of the shed so he could buy stuff he wanted lol. I'm not sure if its the same year but he also has an old Ford tractor that I spent Christmas eve driving to plane down a patch of the back yard for a new fire pit. He "bought his wife" a Shotgun, may not have been a Benelli but they have a few, last year knowing he'd just end up using it. We all shoot clays once a month at a shooting club in the low country called Turkey Hill.

Yep, the Blanton's blew me away because I was down to a bottle and a half and couldn't find anymore. The guys really came through though ... two bottles were found at two different PXs, one bottle was found in a liquor store in D.C. and the other was found in Atlanta.

It's crazy how hard it has gotten finding Blanton's since they started shipping it overseas.
