What class is the brother? Or is he a transfer?

PWO fullback. Apparently Georgia and Auburn have both offered Ford's brother a PWO spot.

Are they twins? I'm surprised it isn't a transfer (that is usually how it is handled)

Alabama has not offered a PWO to his brother. Alabama does not use a fullback in their offense.

Your offense lacks grit.

We use three TE sets and refuse to throw to them. Then use DTs at FB in goal line.

I think the brother is a juco, read an article about a month ago and going off memory.

Our class is about what I expected for a complete transition year with and Early signing day. We did better than every other team with new coaching I believe, so that points to positives in the work of the new staff.

The size is small, will probably have to add fillers just for depth but is what it is. I expect one or two more big signings. Have a few prospects I think we can win still.

Sucks we lost a few guys worth keeping, but was going to happen. Really would like to get Copeland back.

We've successfully added siblings before without counting them in the 25 (never out of high school). Preferred walk ons. Mid school year enrollees.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I don't think anyone ever had a read on a guy that committed to 3-4 schools in the process. Delayed a decision several times. And then promised a commitment to whichever fanbase could get him the most follows on Twitter.

Alabama took another TE commitment two weeks ago, FWIW.

Is that why Saban and Co visited at his home in San Diego a week before the early signing period? Just curious

Missouri has 21 3 stars, and 1 2 star, per 247. Hopefully we can get Michael Thompson, which would help the class a ton. I love our WR core a lot and, next year our defensive line will be one of the best in the SEC. I hope Barry Odom can get a couple of 3/4 stars to end this class.

Anyone have a real handle on what is going on right now w/ Quay Walker? He is a Bama commit that was thought to possibly sign early w/ Georgia and ever since the early signing period has past - the silence has been deafening. Obviously this is going to signing day but just curious if anyone has heard anything more?

Obviously, he didn't sign or decommit. The dead period isn't over until Jan 11, so there probably won't be much recruiting news. Recruiters and prospects are "readjusting" for the NSD home stretch, scheduling visits, etc.

I don't mean to poop on my team and any troll attempts will simply be ignored but how did so many of our three stars get bumped to 4? I think it has something to do with how we handled jawja and Bama.

Recruiting rankings are so fickle, if you're good they're gonna rate your recruits higher.

The moment you realize Justin Fields will be a 3rd string QB
But Eason will probably transfer

Then again, he may be the starter. If he turns out to be better, Smart will play him. I'm not expecting it. I think maybe they'll try to get him a redshirt to get an extra year, if he wants it.

Eason is very likely gone.

The recruiting sites have limited resources. Early on they tend to focus on the obvious top recruits that showed out and got offers from good programs as HS juniors. Then some others start showing out in summer camps and senior seasons and get big time offers. So the services then evaluate and rate them. And when top programs take 3-star guys, they'll double check their evalutions. That's why we see "bumps" -- i.e., good college coaches are much better evaluators than they are.

I like the class so far. High player ranking average despite lower number. Have a real chance to land a top ten class. NPF and Copeland are must gets for it to become that. Boykin seems close to a lock. Gerald should come. We have a lot of battles left. Let's see what this staff is made of the last two weeks closing wise.
