You do realize that those 2 are averaging almost the exact same amount of minutes.
Jontay has been playing with the closing lineup in close games, which there haven’t really been very many of those games. Puryear also was playing with the closing lineup.

Also in th offense Mizzou runs, the 4 is not an interior position.

Yes, I understand that, but let’s stretch Porter out a little more, and reduce Puryear minutes.
The 4 may not be an “interior position”, but they still have to crash the boards, and Puryear is not good at that.
