Ways to earn respect in the SEC
#1 Win a Natty but winning a Big 2 Natty earns the most respect
#2 Get to a Final Four (M or W), CFP, CWS, or WCWS as a SEC member
#3 Fill your home venues
#4 Travel well so the REC goes to bat for you
Winning a conference division is nice but how much does that get Arkansas or Ole Miss respect on tRant or IRL? Winning a division may be how the B1G or PAC validate themselves but SEC looks at the national level and hardware for peer respect. To be fair tho, with all the money Ole Miss spent they should at least have something to show for it.
