The Nick Saban effect in Alabama

Not trying to make this a political discussion. Just observing that the write in votes in Alabama cost the Republican his seat. A friend down there said Nick Saban got most of the write in votes.

Is this true?

If so, add Senators to the coaches that have fallen to the Nick Saban effect.

PS, REC doin work in Alabama.

Actually I think being a pedophile, a racist, and having absolutely no knowledge of the Constitution despite being a judge his entire adult life cost Roy Moore.

Well he wasn't a Senator, the seat was vacated by Jeff Sessions.
