I agree, they were average this season. However, KJ and Pett for the 3 quarters he played healthy this season made them above average.

Our worst OL games were Clemson, Mercer, 2nd half LSU and uga II they all had one thing in common. We were missing 1 of our top two backs and the other back was playing between 60%-75%. KJ turning 2 yards into 6 yards despite the blocking in front of him was a huge key to helping JS get his stride and open the passing offense up without him being sacked every other play. Freezing safties and LB's in run support is important in every offense but it is critical to Gus' adapted wing-T.

Forcing a safety to come into the box for run support is paramount to beating a team deep...we did that in November with our running game and couldn't in December.

Kind of funny how that works, actually. A great OLine can make an average RB look very, very good...and by the same token a great RB can make an average OLine look very, very good.

Your ol created holes for him in game 1, but not in game 2.
