It's easier to dismiss Nick Marshall as a lucky outlier than to try and make this argument exception gymnastics play stick

Taking a UGA DB w 1yr JUCO QB experience and pumping out AU's Nick Marshall is more impressive feat than any HS recruit development story.


The better argument is, if Gus could do that with Nick Marshall, why is it that Gus can't eval/develop "more polished QB recruits?"

The evaluation of HS QBs seems to be the real issue.... hopefully Willis changes that perception.

I think we can all agree that Jeremy Johnson would’ve been butt no matter where he played... kid just didn’t have it, no matter who was coaching him.
