I don't think that's it. From what I've read on other sites, he is a great recruiter, but average on-field or position coach. Anyone that got an 11 on the NFL wonderlic test, can't be the smartest guy in the room. Those are fairly simple test.

To be fair to Tennessee (
) Martin has no HC experience. I'm sure that, more than race, is impacting his consideration for the HC job.
