TV RATINGS.
Everything in this world is driven by money. Having a rematch of Clemson vs Alabama brings more attention than Clemson vs Ohio State.
This is sad but true.

Really? Compare the populations of Ohio vs Alabama. Ohio State has a much larger fan base and a hell of a lot more tv sets in their state.

Completely false. Ohio has almost three times the population of Alabama. Nice try tho
