I can kind of see it. But there's still an argument to be made. OSU had more quality wins. So if anything it still evens out in the end right? So what's the tie breaker?

Total number of losses and the quality of those losses. OSU got blown out by unranked 7-5 Iowa and got blown out at home by OU. Bama lost 1 game in a competitive contest in Jordan-Hare Stadium where Auburn has a decided home cookin' advantage. The fact that Georgia dominated Auburn on a neutral field fortifies that contention.

OSU's quality wins were against teams who inflated their records by beating bottom-feeders in the big 10. Michigan beat one bowl eligible team for example. And bama beat more p5 bowl eligible teams as well as more total bowl eligible teams.

I'm not claiming bama played powerhouses but the sentiment you express is just regurgitated talking points from others that is vastly wrong to be honest.
