He has earned it and we will be better off for the continuity.

He "earned it" by temporarily fixing a problem HE CREATED only for him to have the team look as unprepared as they did at the lowest points of this season in the most important game of the season. All this after 2-3 years of complete frickery wherein he couldn't get his offense to do anything.

Good for him for reeling this season back on track, but don't expect this guy to remain mistake free if we keep him long term. He is what he is; and you will still see "bad Gus" pop up regardless of how good our team is.

This was a Championship caliber season, so I personally choose not to pretend like he did something incredible because he won 10 games. I don't even care that we lost this game, its the fact that we looked like Clemson/LSU Auburn after weeks of riding all the momentum in the world. We got killed by a team that we decimated just a couple weeks ago, and it didn't even look like we were ready for a challenge.

So answer the question genius. Do we keep him or not? If not, who do we get?

THIS X 100!!!!

People are in here acting like it's a feat to take an NFL QB, an NFL RB, a group of 5 and 4 star receivers, and an experienced OLine to 10 wins. It wasn't a bad season, but it was a disappointing one
