People in here have no idea what happened today. The Haslam faction was severely wounded today and UT needed that to happen above ALL. Even above hiring a coach because until they're on the mat (like they are now) NO ONE will succeed at UT. If this coup means 4 years of a mediocre coach but we're free of their death grip - it's a price every one of us will pay.

What Clay Travis didn't tell you is that the Haslams were going to make Bill UT President when he stopped playing TN Gov. This has slowed that plan and had it gone through they would've had a stranglehold that no one was overturning.

This is bigger than just UT football despite UT football being the main battleground.

If the Haslams were as powerful as you all pretend, you wouldn’t have been able to depose them so easily.

thought Bill Haslem was going to make a run for Corker's senate seat.
