1) Auburn
2) Clemson
3) TCU
4) tOSU

They need Auburn to win to make their loss better to help their arguement with tOSU.

Still I believe most Bama fan to be pulling for the dogs. What day you, Bama fan.

The SEC champ really has no bearing on bama. Bama can only get in if TCU and/or OSU win.

Why any bama fan would pull for AU to win the SEC and punch a ticket the playoffs is beyond me.

I would think Auburn. But in the long run their best chance is for TCU to beat Oklahoma, and Wisconsin to beat OSU.

ACC and SEC winner are more than likely in as they will have just 1 loss. So pulling for TCU and tOSU from my couch.

Not sure what you're basing this on; if Clemson wins, they're #1 in the playoffs. Why would beating a 1-loss Miami team drop them?

Honestly though, it shouldn't matter who wins the SECCG. Unless Auburn gets spanked, I don't see them losing altering the perception of the committee that much (considering they already beat UGA by a substantial margin).

I would think they need Wisconsin to win. If OSU wins the committee will try to put OSU in there since they would be conference champs and they love OSU. Then they would have a 1 loss Wisconsin and a 1 loss Alabama to choose from, and that could get tricky. Go ahead and eliminate OSU altogether and send Wisconsin.

You would then have a sceanrio like this:

Clemson/Miami
Georgia/Auburn
Wisconsin
Alabama?

Auburn is ranked ahead a Bama, and UGA jumps Bama if they win. It is slightly in Bama's best interest for Auburn to win to minimize the damage of Bama's loss. I will be for Auburn. But two other games are more important to Bama fans. Bama's fate depends on the Big 10CG. If tOSU can knock out Wisky, and if Fresno State can beat BSU in the MWCCG, then Bama will probably be in at 4, edging out tOSU. If Fresno State loses, they drop out of the top 25, which means Bama loses a win over a ranked team, and tOSU will be in the 4th spot. So the fate of two of the top programs, whose coaches have multiple national championships, is in part riding on a game being played in Idaho on a blue field. I shite you not.

You’re the reason people joke on our fan base regarding reading comprehension. He’s saying that’s who we should pull for.

His post is a reason people make fun of the south in general: he can’t even spell “argument.”

Auburn.

If Oklahoma and Ohio State both win, Bama needs all the help they can get, and that still probably won't be enough.

They really need to be pulling for TCU. That is their best and maybe only shot at getting in.

An Auburn win probably helps their SOS and resume in a small way but I can’t imagine it makes that big of a difference

3 Losses would definitely alter their perception. Especially with a 1 loss Georgia team.

I would think an AU win helps if it comes down to Ohio State v Alabama.

But it would not matter that much, unless maybe Ohio State only won by a close margin.

If TCU beats OK, I think they are in no matter what, but that seems like the only sure way.

I would't be for Auburn if they were playing Hillary Clinton.

I disagree. If OSU wins big against Wisconsin they will put OSU in over Alabama. They WANT OSU in and they do not want 2 SEC teams in.

TCU and Wisconsin needs to win for Alabama to make it.

Except that doesn't make any sense in that order; we would pull for TCU and then OSU. The Miami/Clemson winner is in regardless, and would be seeded higher than us.

He literally has a Top 4 list that doesn't make any sense in the context you provide either.
