The job is toxic at this point.

Never seen anything like this in my time watching college football.

John Currie having Greg Schiano as his #1 guy torpedoed the coaching search.

We just poured a little kerosene on it to really get going

because a tainted mediocre candidate was announced. Tennessee isnt like LSU to stand by and watch O get hired as the 2nd choice. I applaud them.

That is how stupid the entire situation was.
How often do CFB coaches get NFL jobs?

Why does Tennessee think they can turn down a coach who was also offered a job at Michigan and Miami?

Saban wouldn't have done much better at Rutgers than Schaino.

We were fricked the moment they offered Schiano. Don't act like it was any other way.

Vols can try to spin it any way they way. They bitched out cause they didn't get Gruden. They just lucked out that they found something to latch on.

This is why Tenn will never be shite.

You know why Schiano's name was dropped in the first place.
There were two coaches who Joe Paterno was going pick from when he retired one was Schiano and the other was McQuaery.

Why do you think McQuaery pulled Schiano into the scandal?

This is the truth right here. I remember them pitching a 3rd grade fit in 2012 when they didnt get Gruden. Delusional.

Somehow Tennessee makes our circus of 2016 seem like childs play.

His statement was never corroborated by anyone.
The other guy involved Bradley said he never remember such a conversation happening.

Why else would the guy throw Schiano under the bus? Schiano was in line to replace Paterno even with the scandal until McQueary said that.

Damn, didnt even collaborate it.

I don't see why Tennessee didnt want a coach who was 28-48 in the Big East and 11-21 with the Bucs. Hell, Grudden wasn't much better.

Sounds like they really fricked up if you ask me.
