why in blue blazes....

Number one: A national champion experience as HC and Assist. IN THE SEC.
Number two: An excellent recruiter familiar with ALL HS coaches in the state of LA.
Number three: Has a good eye for hiring quality assist coaches. (John Chavis, etc.)
COMMENT: winning in the SEC is MUCH MORE credit to a candidate than a win / loss record at the likes of Wisconsin, citadel, or Memphis state ya know.

I do like the coach at Memphis State as you. He has great potential and in fact has proven to be a winner in a lower bracket of competition he will face in the SEC. Still yet he is young and I placed him 2nd. NOT because he is a good guy for I agree with Leo Durocher of baseball legend, "good guys finish last"!

I know there are more coaches out there than Skip Holtz. However, I also know he plays quality competition with a winning percentage against colleges who recruit nation wide. His roster are largely of those with homes and high schools within 100 miles of Ruston. He is truly a good coach.

Now, as for as records. Typically a coach whomever it may be falls into the performance of their college tradition. A lot of good coaches find their way through Vanderbilt and Kentucky for example. Sadly, AR has found their way into the same arena as those two and others with a tradition less than winning.

NOT degrading my Hogs but a fact easily researched.

My sermon for today, Rev.
