So you have a coach with less than 4 years left on his deal, no AD empowered to extend him were he to win out and if he doesnt and goes to Arky you have no AD empowered to hire a new coach.

This is how you end up in a place with no AD and either a coaching change of you're going to send your coach out recruiting with less than 4 years left on his deal.

To be fair LSU situation was screwed with an AD in place. Maybe y'all would have been better off doing it this way as well.
