Why do they keep doing this? Gruden was a a bit above .500 as an NFL coach. He's never been the head coach of a college football team. He spent more time at the University of the Pacific then he did Tennessee I think.
He has not coached in 8 years. He hasn't coached at the college level in more then two decades.

Exactly...Gruden only won 54% of his games as an NFL coach...kikda like:
Chuck Knox - 55%
Mike Shannahan - 55%
Mike Ditka - 56%
Jimmy Johnson - 57%
