I'm still amazed at the people that think Gruden is a game changer at the college level when there is literally nothing to back it up.

In all seriousness, if he's further along to accepting the job than anytime before, it may mean UT is actually throwing enough money at him, instead of going for the bargain bin. Sounds like Curry might actually be trying

This. Plus, he did almost nothing on the pro level his last six years there after winning the Super Bowl. Couple of division titles and that was it. Never did find a franchise QB in Tampa after Brad Johnson got old.

I think we would match up to 6 mil. Anything after that and he's likely gone. But I would shake his hand on the way out. A successful coach leaves a program in better shape than it was when a arrived and he's done that. I think we would be fine, especially with Cohen callin shots.
