So Ridley steps out on one play and he's too soft? Wow. We have some young guns on the wr corps. They'll beef up, but to call them soft is ridiculous. They need to catch the balls thrown their way. That's the bigger issue. Who was blocking outside on those sweeps in the fourth qtr against MSU? Our offense is missing the ability to check down on obvious incoming blitzes. Right now, teams are loading the box on running and passing downs. I'm hoping that slant to Smith is a sign of things to come.

It's not just that one play, that was one example. I'm not calling the entire WR corps soft. Just Ridley. It's mental and physical.

Ridley is good enough to warrant every other target from Jalen (although it's not that high). It's not like Jalen unnecessarily forces it to him all the time. Why not throw it to him if he's consistently WIDE OPEN?

How about he takes a seat for the rest of the year and focuses on his future. Since he is soft physically and mentally.
This is the biggest insult you can call a player and you are throwing that out to a player who has given it his all for 3 yrs. Shameful.
Ridley is very intelligent. He can assess quickly whether to step out of bounds or run for more than a couple of yards. This intelligence makes him an excellent route runner. So stepping out of bounds is a smart play for the TEAM not soft.
Mentally, lol, why, because he is passionate, loves to compete. He brushed off a play jalen wanted and you call him soft. THAT'S A QB/WR RELATIONSHIP it happens everywhere.
Bottom line. Coaches, team, intelligent fans love him.
If you dont, think about this team without him.

Ridley is definitely not soft. Every time he catches the ball he's giving it his all to get more. The play he ran out of bounds was to preserve clock during a sub 2 minute drill. He did the smart thing
