Yesterday I found myself at a crossroads...

It was interesting and a feeling Ive never really felt before. I didn't want us to lose, but I knew with a loss Bret likely doesn't make the post game presser and Jeff Long does. Then, I thought of just how bad it would look to lose to someone the caliber of Coastal.

When we came back and won, I didn't jump up and down. I didn't scream. I just thought this guy has got to go.

It was an odd feeling honestly. The ULM game under John L had me livid. The difference is, Bret has slowly killed my feel-o-meter for the program and all my feels are gone.

I’ve never rooted for the Hogs to lose, not even when it seemed almost like a necessity to excise Nutt from our program.

Not that I’ve got some sort of moral high ground or anything, it simply goes against muscle memory from being a fan for a quarter century as well as an alum.

I’ve been experiencing something a little more deflating, which is apathy. I volunteered to leave my house yesterday during the third quarter to run errands for my wife, and I didn’t listen to the game while driving around. Not because I was mad, but because I basically stopped caring.
