Unbiased news sources?

What websites/podcasts/etc exists that is neither left or right leaning? It seems every source is either heavily pro-Trump and washes his testicles under moonlight, or heavily anti-Trump and hate his guts...both providing too much misinformation.
Is any source even close to the middle these days?

I get all my news from the Poliboard, but to tell the truth, those guys lean a little too far to the left for my liking.

The Wall Street Journal.
The news, not the opinion pages.

There are no longer any unbiased news sources but most: ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, most newspapers, Hollywood, most large tech companies (Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, etc.) PBS, etc., all lean heavy to the left. Pretty much only Fox News and talk radio lean more to the right.

GurleyGirl is basically correct in this. I spent several years in the news media industry. It's rare not to find a leftward bias, as journos skew overwhelmingly to the left(as much as 87%). There are also a much smaller number of outlets that skew heavily right, but not many. If you can find any of the old guard that still pursue ethical non-biased journalism, you're doing well.
Journalistic integrity began to be replaced by journalistic activism at an increasingly rapid pace over the past fifteen years or so. It's a shame to see the paragons of the industry become shrill echo chambers for politically motivated *writers. (I refuse to call them journalists.)

There really aren't any. I read/watch both sides and am able to form my own opinions. Really hate it that every news show is made up of a board of damn "experts."
Bret Baier and Shepard Smith report news pretty straight-on on Fox. Tucker Carlson & Sean Hannity are completely unwatchable unless you're part of the choir. On the other side Erin Barnett, Don Lemon are unwatchable on CNN. Anderson Cooper is pretty even-keeled and CNN has decent news-magazine shows on the weekend.
Haven't found anything on MSNBC that is less than cringe-worthy.

This is true; but Fix does a better job of giving equal time to left leaning views than CNN or MSNBC do
CNBC is more centrist (biz side of NBC)
Wall Street Journal leans right; plus we have USA Today and Forbes
C Span is pretty nuetral - maybe Bloomberg??

Unbiased news is boring and people do not watch it.
Hence, there are no businesses who are in it to make money that put it out there.

What amazes me is businesses that become political. The NFL protests during the National Anthem is a perfect example. Why in the world would any business want to potentially alienate half of the customers by taking controversial political stances?
I think part of the problem with all of these big money liberal dominated businesses like Google, etc. is they think they are too big to fail. They have so much profit margin that they don't give a shite and are determined to mold the world in their liberal progressive image.
These assholes are definitely in need of some good old fashion competition from in the least politically neutral competitors. Fox became the most watched cable news network by going against the liberal grain. There is definitely an opportunity to do the same in other business sectors.

smart people want to live in a progressive world. They have a hard time facing the reality of what the average person is.

I agree but if they were really smart they would realize that roughly half of their customers don't agree with the political persuasion of the "smart" people. So are the "smart" people trying impose their ideology on the dumbasses? Absolutely but considering the smart ideology boils down to government controlled Socialism, which has not been successful anywhere it has been imposed, they might not be so smart after all.
Google and their ilk are highly successful due to tried and true Capitalism. Their end game would likely make them a ward of the state and less successful at least in terms of profit margin. Then again maybe they are true believers and are playing their political games for the benefit of all of mankind including the dumbasses. Be careful what you wish for when government aka big brother is determining winners and losers instead of consumers making choices about competing products......

Don't laugh, but Al Jazeera is one the most un-biased websites I've found for news.

so much simplistic black and white thinking here.
Yep, tried and true.
Google is not successful because of moneyism. Moneyism is successful because of smart innovators like Google. Who tend to be progressive. Go figure.
The US version of moneyism is best described in 1 Timothy 6:10.
quote:so which half would you suggest they alienate. I'm guessing the true answer to that is, 'well not my half'.

quote:we need to start using the synonym for capitalism. Moneyism. And moneyism is tried but not true. It comes in different flavors in different nations and each has its pluses and minuses. In merica you have balls to the wall uncontrolled moneyism. It has a lot of minuses. Like uncontrolled greed being in control of everything. Speculative stock market crashes. Financial market meltdowns every decade or so. The people responsible taking their hundreds of millions and running. Wealthy corrupt lobbyists buying less wealthy but no less corrupt politicians. And mindless sheep who for some reason literally worship all of that.

You are the typical progressive liberal....a litany of complaints with no solutions.

Who's whining? It's obvious you've never worked at a real job a day in your life, and couldn't survive if you had to. To people in the actual "grown-up" world, you're a laughable minion of academia.

Neither. Businesses should remain non-political. The only reason Google and similar liberal dominated tech companies are able to be politically outspoken is they don't have any competition from the opposite side of the political spectrum or at least politically neutral competitors who point out the liberal political bias of these companies. In other words these companies need some "Fair & Balanced" competitors who point out the bias of these liberal tech companies. Something like:
Fox Search - Our internet search algorithm isn't manipulated based on political leanings.
Foxbook - We don't shut down accounts based on political persuasion.
Fox Fact Check - We don't interpolate our findings in order to induce social engineering.
etc., etc.
