Firing Butch now does more harm than good. Tennessee is better off firing him at the end of the season. It saves them money and it prevents a recruiting Exodus.

My guy in their athletic department says Gene Chizik is at the top of the list. The AD wants a college coach that has won a NC. Fulmer has checked off on the deal. Chiz is very interested and the deal is all but done except for the signatures

I mean, LSU fans thought ridding of Miles early would get them Herman. How did that work out for them?
