I don't know that I would go that far, Grits. Louisville isn't a terrible city if you take away the scandal ridden university that claims it.

I'm from Louisville but went to UK in 98. Lexington was boring as hell outside of the college and a few surrounding bars. Lexington has changed a lot since then but Louisville is still better from a things to do standpoint. Never been to Starkvegas so I have no opinions on it.
