Why has LSU ducked Southeastern Louisiana since 1949?

Could what happened with Troy be the reason?

Running from your in-state rival for 78 years seems a little odd, any older tiger fans want to explain it?

Afraid to lose "flagship" status in the public eye instead of just on paper?

Honestly, you should ask Bama why they ducked Auburn for 40 years.

They like to claim that it was because the rivalry got too heated, but that sounds like BS

I had a coach once that said " it's better to remain silent and thought to be a fool than it is to open your mouth and remove all doubt".It's the same thing here. Everybody thinks SELA is the better football team. If LSU played SELA then it would remove all doubt that SELA is a better team

Giving cupcake money to another Louisiana school is considered money laundering!

How much brown water does it take to muster up the courage to talk shite to the one team you haven’t beaten since joining the conference?

Well since they just started having football teams again this century that would pretty much be your answer

I remember when they had open tryouts to the student body
