Does it remove the two 60+ yard touchdown passes thrown by Missouri in the first half yesterday?
Of course not. Those count in all of the stats being discussed.

They all even out. Out of curiosity....which is better? the 2011Alabama defense...or this years? Alabama and LSU had two of the best defenses I've seen in 2011. It was mind boggling. Almost surprising when anybody got a first down on either defense.
2011, this isn't even Saban's second best D during this run IMO. However the coaching of this particular D with it's unique challenges has been magnificent.

Tuscaloosa is off the frickin' leash.

35% of the scores vs UGA have been against backups.
So if we want to take away these from the stats:
Bama giving up 6 points a game vs starters.
UGA giving up 8.2 points a game vs starters.
Not sure how that looks much different to folks, but ok.

It is ridiculous that any of us would be butthurt over the other having slightly better numbers to this point. Kirby has that defense kicking arse this year. Congrats.

I agree. All I said initially was that the data, which showed Bama to be slightly better, wasn't skewed..it was data.
I'm glad they looked like crap a bit yesterday too. Good stuff going into off week. Coach Smart doesn't look happy, that's good too.

We opened the play book wide for Fromm Sat. He did alright. Our D fell asleep for a few plays. I bet Kirby wakes them up the next couple of weeks.

Agree but Tuscaloosa really does appear to be bothered by the fact that our backups also give up points.

I was just curious. I was pulling for the rematch, because in my mind, those were the two best teams in the country, and it wasn't even close. I don't think Oklahoma State was even close.

That's a good point. I want him to kick the secondary into high gear. Although...I'm not sure that Florida will hurt us through the air much. We need Kirby to give them a tuneup before Auburn.

I did. I questioned a Bammer. I might've even implied they weren't better than the stats showing they were the best. I am shame
