Mac is allowing his staff to bring him down.
Why blame the staff? The blame starts from the top. This team is poorly coached. It is glaring how awful they play. We have athletes but they are held back by this staff. Simple in game moves aren't made. No one seems to know what we're doing on offense or defense.
We had a 3rd down where the refs misplaced the spot of the ball. Instead of Mac challenging it or at least waiting long enough for them to buzz down, they punt the ball and TAM scored a TD. This shite goes on every week. Situation football is not being played but the coaches. Why expect the players to do the same? This is a poorly run team and that starts from the top.

Maybe, but the plays that he scripts the first series are usually very good. If not Mac, then give it to Seider the rest of the season.

We'll get six with Missouri, UAB and South Carolina, maybe even pull it out against FSU.
If we change our quarterback. Franks gets like one play a game where he does something amazing, and is average to below-average for the rest of the year.
Give. Zaire. Another. Chance. Kid's played for a long time, he's got five years, at the very least he can read a defense. At the very least.

Georgia is going to DESTROY this Florida team.

I don't see us beating USC or FSU.
These suspensions will save Mac his job. There is a built in excuse for him to give the AD.

I'm not excusing Mac. His failure to correct these issues is one of the biggest problems. It's bad enough he kept Nuss around, but Nord is stealing money.

This team is not going to a bowl game.
Every game they play is going to be a dog fight.
6-5 is best case scenario. That means beating Mizzou, UAB, and one of USCe or FSU.
Tall order for a team this poorly coached.

Honestly, and hilariously:
We outgained A&M even with a broken as frick quarterback and that's why I'm not just going to outright give up on the staff.
We had 371 yards, we had double the first downs as the other team, we rushed for 248 yards.
There are some dumbshit calls that are happening, but this offense is humming even with a broken quarterback.
Even with a broken quarterback we can get 371 yards.
Imagine what we could do with a real quarterback. frick, I'm not sure anyone could stop us.
If Grier was our quarterback we might have beaten them by 30.

A&M would beat either of those teams without breaking a sweat -- this is actually not a bad team we just lost to, neither was LSU. But the biggest problem is that we just shouldn't have lost to them, and with even a decent quarterback we wouldn't.

Grier would be here if Mac wasn't an arrogant arse.

He wasn't kicked off the team for that. Mac sent him packing and we all know it. He made a choice. Did he kick callaway when he got in trouble over and over?

I'm not sure what you're seeing? Yes, we moved the ball a bit but we end up derping around somewhere along the way. Every week we have stupid motion penalties, illegal substitutions, etc. EVERY frickING WEEK. Mac has not cleaned up the dumb shite since he's been here. Then on defense, week after week we give up too many big plays. Last week it was jet sweeps that a child could see coming. This week it's Mond running the ball and we don't even have a spy on him. There is so many holes with this team on offense, defense and special teams that I don't have time to break it all down. This team needs a new coach period. McElwain is not the guy. I'm not sure how long it takes to see what's staring right in our face?

We just lost to a team that rushed for 83yds and completed 33% of its passes. 5-11 now vs teams that score more than 15.
Straws avg 371ypg. Would rank us 90th. Not impressive at all.

This staff is clearly not the answer

I'm seeing Florida go up and down the field and has a quarterback who can't finish the job. We outgained Alabama on offense and we held A&M to less yards on defense. We did everything right -- we just do not have a quarterback who can manage the offense. He's not the answer.
As I said: If we can move the ball better than Alabama with no quarterback, we might have something special.
Franks, simply, is a dud. He's not the answer, and he never will be.
There's no way Corral loses this game -- even as a True Freshmen, even as a QB from high school. Franks has the physical talent, but his head is not meant for quarterbacking.

Up and down the field? We had 3 drives go over 40 yards not counting the end of half, and every one of them ended in a score.
