Alabama came into Kyle Field, and Texas A&M gave Nick Saban’s team its toughest test since its opener against Florida State, ultimately losing 27-19. Mond held his own against the Alabama defense, going 19-29 passing with 1 touchdown and 1 interception

Will Mond's development last longer than Kenny Trill's development?

I thought he was a goner after that debacle against UCLA and then how they looked against Nicholls but they seem to be trending in the right direction. Its not a stretch for them to end up 9-3 depending on what happens this Saturday against FLA. I think their defense is improving and Mond is coming along.

If they could have held onto a 34 point lead they would probably be a top 15 team right now, and an 8-pt loss to Bama is somehow coming off as a moral victory since they expected to lose by 3-4 tds.

Sumlin is slowly buying himself one more year.

Op you are correct. Summing will be extended with a reasonable buyout.

I have been saying this.

We have some people on this board that read too much clickbait.

Yep. Plus I think he beats LSU this year for the first time, which will buy him another year for sure.

I have to upvote this. It's good to keep a guaranteed win, regardless of how LSU is doing.

I think he will be, Franklin rumors means A&M is sending out feelers. Franklin having to respond to rumors tells me interest has been gauged through his intermediaries.

If that AD wants Sumlin out which is pretty much what he said beginning of year he will be out.
