It makes perfect sense. You're just pretending not to understand because you can't refute the point.

The University of Texas originated in 1839, when the Congress of the Republic of Texas, in an act locating the seat of government, ordered a site set aside for a university.

Texas State Historical Association
I'll give you one guess what that university was called. Hint: Not the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas.

A&M was educating students while your college was still a concept, an idea

Sooner,
Don't take this the wrong way, but no one cares what you have to say.
I typically read your stuff, because it pops up in the middle of a thread, and I don't have a choice.
But your inability to be objective and a semi-decent person makes you pretty much a snoozer of a poster.
Good luck against Iowa freakin State tomorrow.

Prove that you are not a branch of the University of Texas. You don't even control your own endowment... We do.

You keep repeating this, as if anyone cares.
It's silly.
I personally don't care if you call us University of Texas, Part II.

Facts are facts

If you want to be a social worker or teacher you go to the college in Austin

That's reality

Oh you dorky aggie.

You're the kid whose parents had to move to the other side of town because their son kept getting picked on every day walking home from school by a couple of neighborhood bullies.
Once you got to your new street, you started making new friends and talking shite about your old neighborhood and how tough you used to be back on your old block. And of course the reason you moved is because your parents "didn't like the neighborhood".

Those "social workers and teachers" (which is wrong) manage your endowment you brag about.

You might want to do a little research on who manages the fund now. You aren't looking too smart right now

And there you go with your insults, per par.
It's all you do.
Don't be so defensive, guy.
It's really tough to take you seriously.

What's the name of the group that runs the oil endowment?

How are the seats on its board apportioned?

Two very simple questions.
