1. I never claimed Michel wasn't wide open (he was)

2. Fromm delivered the ball in roughly 1.83 seconds. Hardly enough time to go through any progressions when the primary target is supposed to catch the ball 10-15 yards downfield.

3. Nauta was the primary target on the play and there was an open space where Nauta was running to. Quickish strike + potentially open receiver = throw the ball

this is true. but when he saw his primary covered he should have then gone through his progressions and he would have seen Michel easily open. If you primary is open you don't go through progressions. You go through progressions when your primary is covered, and Nauta had a LB on him tight.
