Regardless... you can't let a QB get comfortable with the looks. The defense and gaps need to change. Create doubt and hesitation.

Definitely agree. but we pretty much handled it the same as far as clog the middle, DE take the QB and force the pitch then skate to the outside to help the LB, CB and S with the trail man. It was rocket science, but people want to anticipate the pitch and start heading outside leaving the handoff or QB keeper wide open.

When we ran it, the FB rarely got the ball. It was more often than not the pitch man, with an occasional QB keeper.

For every adjustment that our team makes, Johnson has 3 to throw back at us. Keep em guessing.

He is definitely an expert at the offense. Knows it inside and out.

Currently, our Bbacks have been practically falling forward for ~5 yards/carry because our Oline has been getting a good push on the snap. We're just beating up defenses and chewing clock for the first three quarters and then stepping on the defense's throat as they get progressively tired and frustrated ... excepting when we cough it up and give them a chance to beat us.

Our defense has also been playing surprisingly well, but against inferior talent. Again, we'll know more after Miami.
