According to PowerMizzou.com, Mason is no longer a member of the Tigers and there is no possibility of having him return.

According to STLToday.com, Mason was dismissed from the team for disciplinary reasons.

After the 2016 season, Keyon Dilosa was kicked off the team after his arrest for domestic assault. DeSean Blair, another backup, left the program and transferred to Valdosta State. MU signed two high school receivers in the 2017 class but neither made the roster: O'shea Clark was kicked off the team before the first preseason practice, while DaRon Davis failed to qualify academically.

The next coach better be a recruiting mercenary. I think Sterk is going to go for a big name. Gotta stock the shelves.

More Emmanuel Hall is a good thing IMO

I do agree about Hall.

Can we finally confirm recruiting the leftovers from the Southeast was a shite idea?

Strong... Mason.

They may have been bad apples.

Or players don't give a frick about staying outta trouble with Barry's awesome "speech unifying" talents.

Hilarious shite.

IDK that BO gets much blame for this one. If Mason did something stupid enough to get kicked off the team then that is on him.

I do think Mason had significant upside because of his speed, but I also think that Hall is the better player right now.

He's a Barry Odom recruit, so he can't blame GP for this one.

Usually in a "rebuild" you need to keep the players you actually recruited.

Kim Anderson had the same problem.

Yeah, I blame the kid. Not sure what he did yet, but I'm assuming it's pretty bad if he was immediately dismissed.

I don't disagree but do you see how that is not a good sign for the future? If Hall is better and deserving of more time then why were the coaches playing Mason more over him? So either Hall is better and our coaches can't evaluate talent worth a damn or Mason was in fact better in which case we just lost more talent from the team.

Even though Mason starts, he and Hall have effectively split snaps so far this season.

Yeah, IDK. I thought Pinkel didn't use Marcus Murphy near enough either.

And wasn't it Josey that didn't get a chance until injuries?

And???

Doesn't change the point. If Hall is better, the staff can't evaluate talent and he should have gotten 80% of the snaps. If he's not better/the same then we just took a hit in talent.

Well yea it’s a hit in the talent. Probably not a huge hit, especially this year. It does put extra pressure on the coaches to make sure the recruits they bring in the 2018 class to be ready to play. Especially Ballard and Davis.

This tweet is saying that Mason quit and was not dismissed. (This message doesn't represent my opinion)
This message came from somebody named Kobain.
