How exactly did that jeopardize the athletic department? That really isn't compliance's bone so much as the AD and marketing.

Again, if someone has jeopardized the department (as in NCAA violations), Bracky and Keenum's stance is to give them a swift boot to the arse immediately.

Thank God I no longer have to deal with large contracts and Compliance Depts., but ours 1) made sure the contracts in place were followed to the "T", and any new contract was picked apart like every word, one at a time. 2) Any negative publicity effects (jeopardizes) the university.

If a contract holder caused the kind of embarrassment that reasonable State fans felt with that screw up, that contract holder would be eliminated in the next contract cycle. Is this new to you?
