Only a matter of time. Only Georgia, OM, and Vandy look to be ok. And I work in the basketball field. This is BAD for a bunch of people!!
This is false. Mike Anderson doesn't play the paying game. Its why he recruits the JUCO level hard and usually recruits within the state hard out of the Little Rock area.
Unless something went down with LSU a couple years ago, I would imagine they are fine.

Georgia, OM, Vandy, Arkansas, LSU, .... what about Tenner?
these seem good to go to me, when looking at the many different articles...

I didn't include Tennessee because they've had some shady basketball coaches as of late. So...Ill wait and see on them.

Rick Ray is the most butthurt dumbass to ever get fired at an SEC school

Some schools more than others for sure. You think JJ at LSu wasn't involved! They got rid of TJohnson cause he wouldn't.

Actually he doesn't know the game as he refused to recruit any AAU players. You could put a lineup of the best ten high school players with the fattest chinatown transexuals and Ray would get "who plays basketball" wrong 75% of the time.

That's right!! Ray knows how dirty this game is. Tried to do it clean and couldn't. He knows why Howland was placed by Adidas!! This is NOT rocket science!!

It's five o'clock somewhere

Ray is a disgruntled former employee. He adds no value to your ongoing investigation.

Unless there is proof that
A) coaches knew about it
or
B) payer was booster
The schools are pretty much in the clear NCAA wise, this is a criminal matter the NCAA does not want on blast, the NCAA tournament is the cash cow and they are praying this does not spread.

If you have facts about a violation, send it to compliance@msstate.edu. If not, please do not slander these young men or insult their family.

I will tell you this, if state were even slightly worried that we would get caught up in this, someone would already be fired. I can't tell you anything about the FBI investigations, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that our compliance department doesn't play around and will cut ties immediately with anyone who jeopardizes the athletic department.
I realize this is a message board, take it FWIW. And I'm not even claiming we didn't get players because of Adidas, that would be foolish to believe. You don't land 4 and 5 stars without them being conected to agents, period. But like I said, if it lead back to anyone employed by the university, they would be gone.

Why is the FBI releasing info about who they are investigating? That doesn't seem productive.
They purposefully let the investigation be known once they had enough from the initial investigation. They know that, as they continue to investigate, schools across the country will now basically work for them as additional investigators. None of them want the FBI to find it before they do and, with people going to jail, none of them are going to risk a cover-up if they do find something.

I know State basketball is about to get hammered. It's not if but when. Unlike Ole Miss fans, I'm not in denial.

Not sure how you would prove Howland was placed by Adidas, or if it would even matter that he was. Our athletic foundation still pays his salary, that specific scenario seems unrelated to the FBI investigations. No rule saying you can't pay coaches that I'm aware of.

quote:bullshite. Why did we keep Adidas after they were forced into admitting that the F*** TSUN practice jersey (baseball) was their idea? I emailed Scott but he never responded. We signed a new deal with them that very year, I believe.
