His career at Auburn is over because he took money when he absolutely knew it was against every single rule ever.
Persons drew them in but they made the choice to accept the money. They are as much to blame as far as his eligibility goes.

Agreed. But I am more inclined to forgive an 18 year old for making a bad decision.
However, there is no excuse for Person. He just made some bad, greedy decisions. Decisions that are going to effect the kids and Auburn negatively for years to come.
Hopefully the NCAA will have mercy on us. Based on the facts, we received no competitive or recruiting advantage from Person's scheming. He did it for personal gain and simply "tipped" the parents to go along with it and make it look good on his end.
