Ha. Ok.
Later in the year, I prefer conference stats as there are common opponents.
Earlier in the year, I prefer power 5 (not all FBS are created equally).

Totally agree. A lot of bad FBS schools are just as bad as FCS schools. I like using P5 stats only, but at this point the sample size is so tiny.
