Hyman was not a good AD and I'm sure he's covering himself to some extent, but I don't doubt what he says. Fans who follow the program knew this to be true before he was ever around. If you want to know how a "sleeping giant" never wakes up and remains mediocre, how he describes our football program (which is what most boosters only care about) is how. I hope our current AD or one down the line has the balls to stand up and try to change the way people think, even if it might cost him his job. Otherwise we will probably be stuck in the cycle we are in
