There are plenty of uncles out there who will take out a loan and fix their nephew up with a new ride, assuming that when the NFL check comes they will remember the uncle who took care of them.

I have no idea what the economic situation is for the family of Guice, but someone still has to pay the loan in the meantime. Not everyone has an uncle or family member that can afford to cover the monthly note on a 50k vehicle for a year or two on top of their own expenses

But pretty much everyone has aunts or uncles. And what those aunts or uncles can do is take money from a booster or "friend" of an agent to use toward that car note, which is in their name

People need to realize that Guice is getting his first real pay day in about 10 weeks. 14 weeks at most. He's signing with an agent the day after LSU's season is over.

So it's not a year or two of payments. It's a payment or two.

What about 7 months? Draft is in April

Guice is a quarter of the way into his last year of college football. He's not a freshman.

LSU had to buy a guy who's been here for 2.5 years a range rover to what? Not transfer?

If we are buying cars I would have expected more than 3 of our 19 commits to be in the Top247
